Jedes Jahr überlege ich, ob ich wieder einen Kalender mit Fotos und Lyrik machen soll oder ob ich es einfach mal sein lasse.
Dann schaue ich die Fotos der letzten zwölf Monate durch und weiß: es wird einen Kalender geben. Zu einzelnen Bildern fallen mir sogar spontan erste Zeilen ein. Aber mit einzelnen Zeilen ist es ja nicht getan. Es dauert eine Weile, bis die Muse ihrer Aufgabe nachgekommen ist.
Wenn zwölf kurze Texte zu zwölf Fotos entstanden sind, beginnt die graphische Arbeit. Welche Schrift wähle ich dieses Jahr für die Texte aus? Wo im Bild soll der Text stehen? Und welche Bilder passen zu welchen Monaten?
Dann noch ein Titelblatt und die richtige Jahreszahl darauf – ja, ich habe es schon mal geschafft, die alte zu nutzen. Und wenn das Kalendarium fertig ist, alle Feiertage an den richtigen Stellen markiert sind, dann kann das Ganze zur Druckerei.
Frisch angekommen
Jetzt sind sie da, die Kalender. Format DIN-A4, Metall-Ringbindung, Preis: 12 Euro (+ 3 Euro Versand, alles wie in den vorherigen Jahren).
Und ich freue mich, dass ich mir auch dieses Jahr wieder die ganze Arbeit gemacht habe.
Ein paar Impressionen zeige ich euch heute, den ganzen Kalender gibt’s auf Bestellung per Post. Und wer in der Nähe wohnt, kann auch gerne auf eine Tasse Kaffee oder Tee vorbeikommen und ihn abholen.

Calendar, calendar – the new one for 2023 is here!
Every year I think about whether I should make a calendar with photos and poetry again or whether I should just let it be.
Then I flip through the photos of the last twelve months and know: there will be a calendar. I even spontaneously think of the first lines for individual pictures. But it’s not enough with individual lines. It takes a while for the muse to do her job.
When twelve short texts for twelve photos have been created, the graphic work begins. Which font do I choose for the lyrics this year? Where should the text be in the image? And which picture goes with which month?
Then a title page and the correct year on it – yes, I’ve managed to use the old one before. And when the calendar is finished, all the holidays are marked in the right places, then the whole thing can go to the printer.
Freshly arrived
Now they are here, the calendars. DIN-A4 format, metal ring binding, price: 12 euros (+ 3 euros postage, everything as in previous years).
And I’m happy that I did all the work for myself again this year.
