Heute zeige ich euch, wie es mit der “Südlichen Impression” weitergeht. Und ich verrate schon mal: Das Bild wird fertig und ich mag es sehr. Für mich strahlt es die schläfrige Ruhe der südlichen Mittagszeit aus.
Es hat sich erstaunlich schnell entwickelt, vielleicht liegt es an dem etwas kleineren Format von 50 x 50 cm.
Das Foto, das mir als Inspiration diente, ist entstanden in La Garde Adhémar, einem der “plus beaux villages de France”, einem kleinen Ort auf einem Felsenhügel in der Provence.
Ich habe auch an dem Roussillion-Bild mit dem roten Haus ein bisschen weitergemalt. Immer noch an den einzelnen Flächen, ohne zu sehr ins Detail zu gehen.
Ihr erinnert euch? Es gab da noch ein drittes Bild aus der Provence, dass ich gemeinsam mit “Roussillion” und “Malaucène” begonnen habe.

On my easel: Southern Impression and more …
In today’s video (see above) I’ll show you how the “Southern Impression” continues. And I’ll tell you before: The painting is finished and I like it very much. To me, it exudes the sleepy calm of southern midday.
It has developed surprisingly quickly, perhaps because of the slightly smaller format of 50 x 50 cm.
The photo that inspired me was taken in La Garde Adhémar, one of the “plus beaux villages de France”, a small town on a rocky hill in Provence.
I also did a little more work on the Roussillion painting with the red house. Still on the separate areas without going into too much detail.
Do you remember? There was a third painting from Provence that I started together with “Roussillion” and “Malaucène”.
