Im letzten Blogbeitrag habe ich mir ein paar Gedanken gemacht zu Disziplin und Durchhaltevermögen beim Malen. Und festgestellt, dass sie einem auch im Weg stehen und die Kreativität blockieren können.
Weil ich keine rechte Lust hatte, an den Südfrankreich-Bildern zu malen, habe ich sie beiseite gestellt und eine gebrauchte Leinwand vom Speicher geholt. Zwei Schichten Gesso und sie war weiß und bereit für Neues.
Heute zeige ich euch einen Zusammenschnitt der ersten beiden Malsessions an einem neuen Bild, abstrakt und von der Sehnsucht nach Meer geleitet.
Das Bild ganz offen und frei zu beginnen, hat riesigen Spaß gemacht. Und diese Freude am Tun ist so wichtig. Sie überträgt sich auf die malerischen Gesten, sinkt tief in die Bilder ein und kann dann hoffentlich auch von den Betrachtenden gespürt werden.
Wie es mit dem Bild weitergeht, könnt ihr im nächsten Sonntags-Video sehen. Auf jeden Fall mit viel Energie und weiteren Farben.
Abstract again: Intuitive start to a new painting
In the last blog post I have made a few thoughts on discipline and perseverance while painting. And found that they can also stand in the way and block creativity.
Because I did not feel like painting on the southern France paintings, I set them aside and took a used canvas downf from the attic. Two layers of Gesso and she was white and ready for a new start.
In todays video above I show you a summary of the first two sessions on the new painting, abstract and headed by my longing for the sea.
Starting the painting completely open and free was such a huge fun. And this joy of doing is so important. It transfers to the picturesque gestures, drops deep into the painting and hopefully can be felt by the viewer.
In next Sunday’s video you will see how the painting develops. In any case with a lot of energy and other colors.
