Heute kommt Teil zwei meines kleinen „Zwischenprojektes“: Ich binde aus den beschriebenen und gefärbten Blättern ein Büchlein.
Als erstes muss ich noch Buchdeckel herstellen, dann geht’s an Binden selbst, das ich zum ersten Mal mit dem sogenannten „koptischen Stich“ machen möchte (ich weiß nicht, ob sie ganz korrekt ist in dieser Form, aber egal).
Im Video zeige ich euch – wie immer im Zeitraffer -, wie das kleine Buch entsteht.
Mir hat’s Spaß gemacht, auch wenn es etwas fummelig war.
Das Färben mit Avocado ist für mich erstmal abgehakt, aber mit der koptischen Bindung werde ich mich sicher noch öfter beschäftigen.
Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass sie bei einem Projekt wie dem mit der großen Collage gut eingesetzt werden kann.
In der nächsten Zeit wird es hier vermutlich etwas ruhiger sein, ich werde nicht so regelmäßig bloggen, wie ihr das von mir gewohnt seid, vor allem wird es kaum Videos geben.
Der Grund: Ich brüte gerade ein paar neue Ideen aus.
Ihr kennt ja das Vier-Stufen-Modell der Kreativität. Im Moment steht das Sammeln von Informationen an, bevor ich in die Inkubations-Phase eintrete. Das alles braucht Zeit und Muße. Habt also ein bisschen Geduld mit mir.
Experiment (2): Bookbinding from the avocado-stained paper
Today is part two of my little “intermediate project”: I’m binding a booklet out of the written and colored sheets.
First I have to make book covers, then the binding itself, which I want to do for the first time with the so-called “Coptic stitch” (I don’t know if it’s quite correct in this form, but whatever).
In the video above I show you – as always in fast motion – how the little book is made.
I had fun, even if it was a bit fiddly.
Dyeing with avocado is ticked off for me for now, but I’m sure I’ll deal with the Coptic binding more often.
I can imagine that it could be put to good use in a project like the large collage.
In the near future it will probably be a little quieter here, I won’t be blogging as regularly as you are used to from me, above all there will be hardly any videos.
The reason: I’m hatching some new ideas.
You know the four-step model of creativity. At the moment I’m gathering information before I enter the incubation phase. All of this takes time and leisure. So have a little patience with me.
